How is my payment protected?
It's processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe) and protected — if the job isn't done right, you can be refunded before you confirm completion. Standard, bank-grade handling, so both sides are covered.
What if the work isn't up to scratch?
Don't release the milestone. The funds stay held while we help work it out with the tradesperson. That's the whole point of holding it.
Is there a fee?
A small protection fee comes out when funds are released — that's what pays for the safety, the vetting and the support. Posting a job is free.
Are the trades really vetted?
Yes — checked before they can quote, with licensed partners handling electrical and plumbing. We're building this to be a place scammers can't operate.
